My outfit for tomorrow is inspired by my Polly Pocket collection. I just dusted the houses off and took some snapshots of them. My mother liked these miniature dollhouses a lot and bought several parts for me when I was a kid. They are very dear to me and I plan to present them in a vitrine should I eventually move to a bigger flat. I bought the victorian blouse and the lace skirt at seconhand shops in Brussels and the bow is from Asos. I will wear the blouse for the first time in public tomorrow, it will probably be a bit weird, the sleeves are so huge (^_^)
I had 3 of the same ones you do. I wish I had kept them.
Thank you :-)
Eeep what a wonderful collection of Polly Pockets! And this outfit is adorable :D <3
The mansion was my favorite too! I’d love to have one of those houses with real electric lighting also, maybe I will have a look at ebay soon (-:
Thank you so much!
I love the outfit!!!! Your style is a breath of fresh air…
I have a big Polly Pocket collection too, my mom kept them in a glass cabinet and I felt so bad she didn’t want me to play with them. She recently took them all out so my daughter could play with them. The little dolls, cars, and other little items are now missing. Sheesh.
I was allowed to play with them and obviously lost a few dolls but I think most of the houses are complete. I used to have a writing case though that seems to be lost.
Did you have that mansion too? That was my favorite! My daughter lost the car, horse, carriage, and flags. Too bad :(
I love your post! It makes me miss the Polly Pockets I used to have as a kid.
Thanks :-) I am very happy that my mom kept a lot of my toys and clothes.
I love your outfit!
