Vor noch nicht allzu langer Zeit waren Blazer, Jackets und Mäntel ein eher rares Gut in meiner Garderobe, eine Lücke die ich in den letzten 2 Jahren gründlich geschlossen habe. Eine der Neuanschaffungen der letzen Monate ist ein blaues Woll-Jacket aus den 1970ern, gefunden bei Gabriele Vintage in Brüssel. In die kastigen Silhouetten der 70er verliebe ich mich meist nicht ohne weiteres, dieses Jacket saß an Schultern, Ärmeln und Rücken aber zu gut um nicht mitzukommen. Ich habe nur die Knopfreihe leicht versetzt um es etwas schmaler zu machen. Diese Photos sind lediglich ein paar Wochen alt, aber für Overknee Strümpfe ist es mittlerweile nun auch fast schon wieder zu kalt, ich finde schade dass der Zeitraum für klassische Herbstmode eigentlich immer nur wenige Wochen dauert. Zumindest wenn man, so wie ich, ab unter 18 Grad bitterlich friert. Ein Glück dass ich in den letzten Wochen auch Mäntel gefunden habe… :-) A bientôt!

In a time not too long ago, jackets and coats where pretty rare component of my wardrobe, but that’s a gap that I filled very thoroughly in the meantime. One of the new finds of the last months was a blue wool-jacket from the 70s that I had bought a Gabriele Vintage in Brussels. I usually don’t fall for the angular silhouettes of the 70s easily but the fit of this jacket was just too good, especially at the sleeves, shoulders and back. I only relocated the buttons slightly for a somewhat slimmer overall fit. These pictures are only a few weeks old but it is already too cold now for overknees already, it’s a pity that the time for classical autumn garments and accessories last only a couple of weeks here. At least if you, like me, feel cold as soon as the temperatures drop below 18° Celsius. Such good luck that I also found pretty coats in the last weeks… :-) A bientôt!
